1 side of the park is closer to the freeway and there is some graffiti present, otherwise the park is very safe and easy to traverse. A campground is located on one end and a playground on the other. There are a few paid parking lots one before approaching the campground and the other by the playground. You can park for free near the residential area right before the campground but after the paid lot. Overall, nice family friendly walk with a nice view.

Where to stay in Guajome County Park in California?

We stayed at Guajome County Park in March in site #6. It had a nice picnic table and firepit and the Park Ranger gave us some wood that was left by another camper. Our site was elevated over the sites below giving us additional privacy.

Are there any negatives to Guajome County Park?

Lots to do walking trails, playground, volleyball court, horseshoes, etc. Campground is close to lots of shopping WalMart, Vons, fast food, and restaurants. Two negatives no sewer and no OTA stations.
