The Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation (TSAC) has designed a new Financial Aid portal. This portal includes the ability to apply for state scholarships, email TSAC, view lottery FAQs, account management and the ability to view your state financial aid summary.
What is the GPA requirement for the Tennessee HOPE Scholarship?
Have a minimum 2.75 – 2.99 cumulative GPA and have a semester GPA of at least 3.0 at the end of the semester in which the student attempted 72 semester hours and any multiple of 24 semester hours thereafter.
What is TSAC grant?
The Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation (TSAC) provides a need-based grant program for in-state undergraduate students attending eligible Tennessee institutions. If awarded the TSAA, the first eligible Tennessee school listed on your FAFSA will be notified.
What are the requirements for TN reconnect?
To be eligible for the Tennessee Reconnect grant, an applicant must:
- Be a Tennessee resident for at least one year.
- Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
- Qualify as an independent student on the FAFSA.
- Comply with U.S. Selective Service requirements, if applicable.
- Not be incarcerated.
How much is the HOPE Scholarship in TN?
Tennessee HOPE Scholarship is a $4000 per year scholarship awarded to qualifying Tennessee residents. An additional amount of up to $2000 may be available for the summer semester for students who first received the HOPE Scholarship in Fall 2009 or thereafter.
Can you lose TN Promise?
TN Promise students can enroll less than full-time (12 hours) in the summer term and still receive funding, given they continue to meet all other eligibility criteria. If you fail to meet any of these requirements, you will lose the Tennessee Promise scholarship.
Does TN reconnect pay for summer classes?
Continuous enrollment every fall and spring semesters. Maintain a Reconnect 2.0 GPA to maintain eligibility for the grant. If a student does not enroll in summer courses, this would be at the end of the spring). TNR will pay for Summer Semesters (Minimum of 6 credit hours)
