How long does an AccuQuilt die last?
Depending on the fabric, the mfg. says the dies are good for 100-200 cuts. Keep in mind, that’s six layers of normal cotton fabric. After that, they have to be replaced.
Can AccuQuilt cut leather?
You can cut all types of fabrics including cotton, batik, flannel, fleece, wool, denim and leather although the number of layers of each fabric you can cut is determined by its thickness and type.
Is AccuQuilt worth the money?
I can absolutely recommend this product to quilters who want to cut shapes or strips quickly with little strain on the back or hand. While there is a little fabric waste, I find that MY time is valuable and if the cuts are accurate then I find that a few extra scraps and well worth it.
