Arsenal Digital Solutions, Inc., the leader in on-demand data protection, recently launched the Arsenal Armory Program, a multi-tiered channel program that enables partners to capitalize on the rapidly growing opportunity in data protection services for small- and medium-sized businesses.

Arsenal has been a pioneer in data protection services for nearly 10 years as a strategic partner to many of the largest network service providers and global enterprises. Today’s announcement establishes new levels of strategic partnering with Arsenal, allowing Arsenal to continue its business growth with small and medium businesses. Inaugural Arsenal Armory partners announced today include: HexiSTOR, Jamcracker and SoftNet Technology.

Arsenal’s new reseller program and recruiting focus is on partners that have a strong networking and/or storage focus with experience in selling managed services in regulated industry verticals like banking, healthcare, insurance and manufacturing. In June 2007, Computer Reseller News named Arsenal as an “Emerging Technology Dynamo.” The award recognized Arsenal for offering superior technology, robust margins, profit-potential and uncompromising customer support, for its storage solutions.

According to IDC, this year SMBs are expected to spend a significant portion of nearly $404B in IT budgets worldwide on data protection solutions, including backup, archiving, replication and disaster recovery. This surge is fueled by exponential data growth, increasing mobility and system complexity. For resellers and integrators focused on the market, data protection is clearly a top priority for revenue growth, and an opportunity to leverage “trusted advisor” status to design and implement solutions for their customer base.

“Since our inception, Arsenal has been 100 percent channel focused, helping partners build a profitable portfolio of data protection services for companies of all sizes,” said Brian Reagan, executive vice president and CMO for Arsenal Digital. “Today’s announcement brings these capabilities to a new set of partners looking to capitalize on an attractive market opportunity. Our Armory Program represents almost a decade of experience and learning how to create profitable, lasting partnerships.”
