U.S. Army leaders are embedding a suite of mobile security products from SMobile Systems in Columbus, Ohio, in Army hand-held computers such as the Talla-Tech RPDA-57 rugged PDA to protect these devices from mobile viruses and malware attacks.

SMobile security software is going into mobile computers of the Army's mortar battalions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Fielding starts this month.
