Third Consecutive Year RMI Makes List

RMI, the largest independent provider of comprehensive rail information services to the transportation industry, today announced that it has been named to Inbound Logistics' Top 100 Logistics IT Providers for 2008. The Inbound Logistics editors selected their top 100 using questionnaires, online research and personal interviews. RMI was selected from among over 300 companies.

Inbound Logistics offers the annual list of Top 100 Logistics IT Providers to its readers to showcase those solutions and providers that best solve their logistics and IT challenges. The list includes a blend of solutions providers that can create value for a wide swath of companies – of varied industries and sizes – and includes a drilled-down look at each provider’s solutions, costs, platforms and specializations.

“Selecting the Top 100 Logistics IT providers is a measure of matching reader feedback with technology partners we deem are suited to deliver the best value to an ever-expanding and demanding shipper community,” says Felecia Stratton, editor at Inbound Logistics. “The companies chosen, including RMI, reflect our readers’ diverse IT needs: simplicity, ROI, efficient implementation, and a dual emphasis on best-of-breed or end-to-end solutions.”

“We are honored to be recognized for the third consecutive year as one of the Top 100 Logistics IT Providers by Inbound Logistics,” says Paul Pascutti, vice president of marketing for RMI. “The fact that we have been recognized for three successive years speaks to the consistency and quality in which we service the transportation industry.”
