Home network market is emerging as a killer category for mobile carriers, device and hardware manufacturers as well as middleware platform developers.

Remote access services, that enables the user to check home security related issues from a remote location by using a mobile device, have been mainly introduced by mobile carriers in Korea. This white paper introduces briefly the main trends in mobile device-based home network services in Korea and provides an outlook for the services in the future.
