EVault Insight Online Review Service Now Features Improved User Interface And Redaction Capabilities, Full Unicode Support For Foreign Languages And Expanded Collection Services From Seagate Recovery Services

EVault, Inc., a Seagate Technology (NYSE:STX) company and the trusted expert in complete data protection solutions, today announced enhancements to the EVault Insight online review service that will better serve the needs of corporations and law firms who manage electronic discovery for regulatory compliance, retention and litigation.

EVault Insight is a hosted, online electronic discovery solution comprised of both a technology and a professional services component to maximize the speed of a legal review, and fully support the review team. Enhancements to EVault Insight include an improved user interface and a simple-to-use redaction tool, using a drag-and-drop mouse feature. TIFF image-based review capabilities have been added to enable a review team to quickly complete first-level reviews of large document collections. EVault Insight is also capable of completing productions more quickly because TIFFs of the entire collection are created during processing, at no additional cost to the customer.

With full Unicode support for foreign languages, including Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and Cyrillic languages, EVault Insight can achieve greater than 99 percent accuracy, without native speaker supervision. By automating the process, EVault eliminates the need for human intervention, reducing both cost and complexity of handling character-based language documents.

Additionally, EVault, in partnership with Seagate Recovery Services, now offers expanded collection services to all EVault Insight customers including tape restoration, and hard drive mirroring performed onsite or in a Seagate Recovery Services lab. This service provides customers with a seamless eDiscovery process by having an EVault Insight Project Manager as the only point of contract who is already familiar with the customers’ collection needs and timelines.
