Synopsis

In the event of a natural disaster, readiness drill, or terrorist attack, network infrastructure such as the email server may be lost, and communications via normal email systems will be unavailable. And, voice circuits may be jammed, leaving cell phones useless. However, it is just these circumstances in which smartphone users require uninterrupted communications and immediate access to Continuity of Operations (COOP) plans and emergency procedures.
