Real-Time Data Protection and Recoverability a Crucial Need in Legal Profession

Double-Take ® Software, a leading supplier of data protection and recovery software, today announced its participation at this year’s International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) annual conference August 20-23 at the Grande Lakes Resort in Orlando, Fla.

Double-Take Software understands that the legal profession has a high dependence on hourly productivity and uptime, as well as a high level of regulatory compliance issues. With Double-Take Software solutions for the legal environment, law firms can rely on Double-Take for real-time data replication and failover, allowing for a quicker and easier recovery process than traditional tape backup would normally allow. This approach also supports the need to meet compliance and data protection concerns of clients across many industries.

Double-Take Software will be available to supply more information and answer any questions at ILTA Booth #205. Additionally, Double-Take Software will be demonstrating a number of products during the conference.

In addition, Bob Roudebush, director of solutions engineering with Double-Take Software, will lead a session and demonstration highlighting disaster recovery planning in the legal IT environment during the State of the Art Technology Track titled: “Disaster Recovery Planning in the Legal IT Environment.” The session will take place August 23rd from 3:30-4:30PM at Marbella 1&2. Attendees of this session will walk away with a better understanding of why virtualization is important in a server environment; how to develop an effective disaster recovery plan for a virtual server environment and why it is critical to day-to-day operations; what to consider when selecting a disaster recovery solution; and - most importantly- real-life examples of why disaster recovery plans and solutions are critical to law firms.
