The Capital Development Authority has sent a summary about establishment of National Institute of Disaster Management in Sector G-5 to Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani for final approval.
This was told at the 25th board meeting of the authority on Wednesday. The meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Kamran Lashari was attended by CDA board members.
The meeting decided to construct parking plazas in the federal capital in order to deal with increasing demand for parking in commercial areas.
The meeting decided that a feasibility study about the proposed Mass Transit System in the twin cities would be conducted. The board also decided to allot two school plots to Federal Directorate of Education in Model Urban Shelter Project, Farash Town. The board also took a decision to hire a consultant for the Fire and Rescue department of the civic agency. |
