Avnet Technology Solutions today announced an Americas distribution agreement with Double-Take® Software (Nasdaq: DBTK). Avnet Technology Solutions, an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), will provide Double-Take recoverability software to its value-added reseller (VAR) partner community. Double-Take Software complements offerings in Avnet's portfolio from Citrix, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Sun Microsystems and VMware. Byadding Double-Take products to its lineup, Avnet gives partners the ability to create comprehensive data protection and disaster recovery solutions with hardware, software and services.
