
Cayenne Communication, the agency specializing in strategic, integrated marketing and communications for high-technology companies, today added Joe Fowler to its account management team in the newly created position of director of account services. Joe, who has over three decades of experience in domestic and international high-technology marketing, communications and technical writing, will report to president Michelle Clancy.

Joe Fowler has been director of marketing communications at Ubicom and Fairchild Camera & Instruments, public relations manager at Cirrus Logic and VLSI Technology, and an engineering writer at GTE Lenkurt, Lockheed and Philco-Ford. His prior agency experience includes FS Communications, The Hoffman Agency, Hill and Knowlton and TFB PR, and his clients have run the gamut from Infineon, National Semiconductor, LSI Logic and Synopsys to Four-Phase Systems, Ridge Computers, Avantek and PortalPlayer. He has provided PR counsel and marketing communications and writing services for clients and companies covering the spectrum of technologies from semiconductor design and manufacturing to networking and embedded systems, telecommunications and personal computers. His past experience also includes minicomputer hardware and software, data storage, and electronic warfare countermeasures.
Joe worked toward his M.A. in English at Santa Clara University, and holds a B.A. in English from California State College, San Bernardino, and an associate of arts degree in electronics from College of San Mateo.
