About Us

ANSUL® is the premium fire suppression product range, which is part of Tyco Fire & Security’s Fire Suppression business unit. The full line of ANSUL special hazard fire protection products includes fire extinguishers and hand line units; pre-engineered restaurant, vehicle, and industrial systems; sophisticated fire detection/suppression systems and a complete line of dry chemical, foam, and gaseous extinguishing agents. ANSUL products are developed and tested at the ANSUL Fire Technology Center, one of the most extensive fire research and testing facilities in the world. ANSUL products meet the demanding challenge of industry and commerce, including high hazard/ high risk markets such as automotive, aviation, mining, chemical and petro-chemical, utility and metal manufacturing/processing industries.

Fire Protection Products

RED LINE® Fire Extinguishers – RED LINE hand portable and wheeled extinguishers are the premium firefighting units preferred by safety directors in high fire-risk industries. Stored Pressure Extinguishers – Select from our full array of stored pressure brand extinguishers: SENTRY® Dry Chemical, CO2 and Water Extinguishers, CLEANGUARD® Clean-Agent Extinguishers, and K-GUARD® Kitchen Class Extinguishers. Clean-Agent Systems – INERGEN® and SAPPHIRE™ systems protect enclosed areas where there is a need for quick reaction to a fire, where people may be present, where fire may strike day or night, and where damage from conventional agents cannot be tolerated. Systems for Kitchen/Cooking Equipment – R-102™ and PIRANHA® restaurant fire suppression systems can be found in more restaurant kitchens than any other, from the smallest restaurateurs to the largest fast-food chains. Ansul Foam Products – An extensive line of firefighting foam products: foam agents, proportioning equipment and discharge devices. Systems for Non-Road Mobile Equipment – Various fire suppression and detection innovations for mining, forestry, construction, waste disposal, and other industries. Carbon Dioxide Systems – Choose from High Pressure Cylinders, Low Pressure CO2 Mini-Bulk Tanks, and Low Pressure Bulk Tanks. AUTOPULSE® Detection and Control Systems – AUTOPULSE® control units provide detection alarm equipment shutdown and fire suppression system release. Large Manually-Operated Handline Units – Single or twin-agent units require no outside power source. Ideal for vehicular mounting for industrial or highway applications. Since 1940, the ANSUL FIRE SCHOOL has provided high fire-risk industries with the most comprehensive fire training programs for the incipient firefighter. We provide your employees with live fire training to handle those critical first two minutes of a fire.- which often means the difference between a minor incident and a fire disaster.

The ANSUL FIRE SIMULATOR provides realistic fire extinguisher training for both veterans and first-time operators. Its patented design provides a complete fire training center in a 160 square foot (15 m2) area.

Ansul products are distributed through a worldwide network of over 1000 fire protection professionals. Each is Ansul-trained and supported by our field sales staff, technical and customer services departments.
