Biography
Nick Gillett is the Director of Technical Marketing for L3 Communications Security and Detection Systems’ cargo systems. He first worked on cargo inspection over 12 years ago when working for British Aerospace who built the first high-energy truck x-ray systems in the Middle-East. In 1997 he joined PerkinElmer Detection Systems to work on their cargo systems. L3 Communications acquired Detection Systems from PerkinElmer in June 2000. Nick studied physics at Imperial College in London, graduating in 1977.
