Precise Biometrics has received an order from Swisscom worth SEK 2.4 million, which will be invoiced before the end of the year. The order is a follow-up order and comprises both keyboards with fingerprint sensors and licenses of Precise BioMatch™.

Swisscom has been using the biometric solution since 2006 and has several thousands of users already deployed. The software solution is based on Precise BioMatch™ and utilizes Precise BioKeyboard™ as well as laptop-integrated fingerprint sensors. The current order is being delivered and invoiced during the fourth quarter.

Swisscom is Switzerland's leading telecom company with a total of around 19,000 employees.

The use of biometrics offers Swisscom's employees efficient and secure logon to desktops, networks and applications. Replacing passwords with fingerprint technology not only simplifies everyday life for the user, it also reduces costs and IT security risks for the company.
