Biography

Jayne Howe, FBCI is the Managing Partner of The Howe Partnership, a Canadian consulting organization specializing in the provision of business continuity and disaster recovery planning. In addition to managing her own consulting firm, Ms. Howe has provided consulting services to the client base of All Hands Consulting, Deloitte & Touche, Comdisco, Ajilon Consulting, PDR Global and MetaGroup Consulting Canada. With over 28 years of business continuity management experience, she specializes in the provision of business continuity consulting services in addition to conducting security audits and plan reviews. Her clients include public and private sector organizations in North America, Australia and Asia.

As a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute, Ms. Howe has demonstrated a high degree of competence in all practice areas. These include:

She is also the co-author of The Definitive Handbook of Business Continuity Management.

Ms. Howe is a Toronto graduate and has completed several courses in Canada and the United States on Multi-Vendor Networking and the Bates Project Management Methodology, as well as Data Communications.
