Baron Services was founded in 1990 with a vision of changing the way the media and viewing audiences would receive severe weather information. Bob Baron, Founder and President of Baron Services and a dedicated meteorologist, wanted to bring this information into local communities and neighborhoods instead of focusing on larger regional areas. This involved placing the proper tools in the hands of broadcast meteorologists across the country that could prevent the loss of life.
