XpandR II is part of DSP Group's XpandR family of chipsets for wireless multimedia communications, which recently received certification from the Voice-Personal program of the Wi-Fi Alliance.
Suitable for all Wi-Fi and cordless telephony-based products, XpandR II is a comprehensive solution that includes an integrated multimedia and DECT/EDCT baseband processor, an analog front end, a full set of RF chips, a software package, and an array of multimedia peripherals. Utilized for full system implementation, XpandR II supports applications such as multimedia streaming, web browsing, communication services and voice.
The chipset complies with international IEEE 802.11a/b/g and cordless standards, including ETSI, while fully supporting Wi-Fi WMM, WMM-PS, WPA, WPA-2, and WPS, along with GAP, CAT-iq, 2.4 GHz, and DECT6.0. |
