Vision Technologies, Inc. is revolutionizing surveillance and force protection for the United States Military and commercial markets with their patents pending on the only known line of MIL-S-901D Grade "A" shock-certified ruggedized imaging systems.
Vision Technologies is a pioneer in the design and manufacture of the most durable video surveillance imaging systems. By combining imaging technology from medical applications with innovative engineering, Vision Technologies has produced the only known line of MIL-S-901D Grade "A" shock certified imaging systems available with patents pending. In doing so, have been the creator of the ruggedized surveillance and force protection imaging and sensors market. The current line of products is protected by a combination of eight trademarks, 24 issued patents, and seven patents pending.
Since September 11th, and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, there has been a clear need within the armed services to improve surveillance capabilities and to do more with fewer forces. Vision Technologies products not only provide superior imaging and situational awareness, they also significantly reduce exposure of our forces to hostile fire. The imaging systems, when used in conjunction with programs like the Navy's Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) program actually reduce the number of personnel required to monitor mission critical equipment and systems.
Vision Technologies has developed our initial product line to meet the needs of our current military and future commercial customer base. Some of the commercial applications include strategic surveillance in environments such as but not limited to refineries, power plants, rail yards, switching networks, etc. Other commercial applications include security surveillance such as construction sites, shipping, cruise lines, tankers, truck lines, aviation and non-aviation engine and equipment maintenance, etc.
Vision Technologies (visntec.com) offers many specialty products including the J-Series pan and tilt systems which use an LRU configured adapter plate allowing for rapid in the field reconfiguration without the added cost of customization. With payloads ranging from 4-100 lbs, this LRU/Adapter plate feature allows the utilization of an infinite variety of customer camera systems and configurations. Customer can use either Vision Technologies or customer provided camera housings.
Vision Technologies also has a variety of fixed camera systems to meet specific customer requests.
By design, our low cost and maintenance free systems are readily compatible with any existing video and imaging system- in effect, we are system agnostic. We anticipate that demand will continue to grow for new applications in the commercial markets. |
