Featuring 667 MHz cache interface, MegaRAID® ROC (RAID-on-Chip) SAS adapters enable channel customers to build single-platform SAS infrastructures that support SAS/SATA drives. Based on SAS1078 controller IC, products provide internal RAID 6 capabilities to tolerate up to 2 simultaneous drive failures and manage unrecoverable media errors during rebuilds. Controller also provides PCI Express host interface for delivery of 1.5 GBps sustained sequential throughput.
