XOP Networks develops and manufactures value added service platforms with applications enabling Voice Mail, Mass Notification, Audio Conferencing, Web Conferencing and Enhanced Firebar, today announced that they have been selected to participate in the Innovation Showcase at the OPASTCO Winter Convention, January 17-21, 2009 Kauai, Hawaii. OPASTCO is a national trade association that represents more than 600 independently owned local exchange carriers (LECs) and their affiliate telecommunications companies.
The OPASTCO Winter Convention brings together independently owned LEC's from all over the United States to review the latest developments in the telecommunications market. This year's OPASTCO Winter Convention theme is "Riding the Wave of New Opportunities" and XOP Networks is pleased to be able to present one of the new opportunities at the Innovation Showcase.
XOP Networks has continually distinguished itself by introducing innovative services on its Universal Service Node platfrom. XOP Networks will highlight the "Graceful Migration of Value Added Services" when a LEC transitions from legacy TDM networks to next generation VoIP network in the Innovation Showcase. This migration is enabled by the ability of the Universal Service Node to connect to both TDM networks and VoIP networks at the same time. "We are very pleased and excited that the XOP Networks has been selected by OPASTCO to show the capabilities of our Universal Service Node in this year's Innovation Showcase." said Sudhir Gupta, XOP Networks Founder and CEO.
The Universal Service Node enables improved productivity for LEC's and their customers by providing low cost Voice Mail, Mass Notification, Audio Conferencing, Web Conferencing and Enhanced Firebar applications over legacy TDM and next generation VoIP networks. The primary benefit to the LEC's is that all applications run on one platform, saving 75% CapEx and 50% OpEx. |
