North Platte, Nebraska, is home to more than 25,000 residents, with that number growing every year. City officials turned to MapInfo to conduct market and trade area analysis to identify the retailers that are optimal for the city’s demographic profile and its available real estate properties. Using the MarketSuite On Site Market Study, an in-depth, location-specific analysis of the area’s geography, demographics and buying behavior, North Platte uncovered economic indicators to help it grow existing business and identify opportunities in new industries that present the greatest potential for success.
