(Chicago, ILL)-Representatives at the annual AIHCE trade show from North Safety Products & DuPontTM today announced a new distribution agreement for North Safety to carry DuPontTM RelyOnTM antiseptics and disinfectants and a NEW Biohazard PPE Kit.  These products will provide basic personal protection to workers against a broad range of pathogens.  

The product offering is broken into 3 groups:
• DuPontTM RelyOnTM Antiseptic Hand Wipes and Sprays;
• DuPontTM RelyOnTM Multi-Purpose Disinfectant Cleaner (MDC); and,
• North Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Biohazard Kit including DuPontTM  TyvekTM protective clothing

DuPontTM RelyOnTM Multi-Purpose Disinfectant Cleaner (MDC) is EPA registered  against a wide range of pathogens including Hepatitis A, B and C, HIV, MRSA, VRE, Influenza and Norovirus.  Mix easy-to-use tablets with water in provided spray bottle.  Tablets have a shelf life of 2 years and the powder 3 years, making the product convenient to both ship and store.  DuPontTM RelyOnTM disinfectants offer effective alternatives to bleach for clean up and disinfection of hard, non-porous surfaces after exposure to blood borne pathogens where the potential for cross contamination of critical material exists.

North Safety Products Biohazard Personal Protective Equipment Kits contain a DuPontTM Tyvek® suit, DuPontTM RelyOnTM Hand Antiseptic wipes and DuPontTM RelyOnTM MDC.  Kit contents include other North PPE items such as: one pair of Indirect Vent Splash Proof Goggles, two N95 Respirators, and one pair Nitrile Medical Grade Gloves and Latex Booties.   Kits comes in three sizes: small, medium or large.
