The McAfee Secure Internet Gateway is Awarded Five Stars by SC Magazine
McAfee, Inc. today announced that the McAfee(R) Secure Internet Gateway 3000 was awarded five stars and received SC Magazine's Best Buy award in the publication's September issue. The McAfee Secure Internet Gateway appliance received this recognition in the Secure Content Management group test.

The McAfee Secure Internet Gateway 3000 appliance protects against spam, phishing, viruses, spyware and malicious Web sites. McAfee Secure Internet Gateway also protects against both email and Web threats for one affordable flat-rate price. It is managed by McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator(R), which manages virtually all of McAfee's solutions. Award winning McAfee SiteAdvisor(TM) is included at no additional charge. McAfee SiteAdvisor protects users against malicious Web sites that harbor spyware, phishing scams or spamming agents.
According to the reviewer, the installation of McAfee Secure Internet Gateway was the quickest among products tested. The reviewer found the product unique among those reviewed in that it could also scan POP3 connections for viruses and other malicious code. The product received five stars for its feature set.
