
Company to Develop System for Integrated Digital Environment to Enhance Information Sharing
SRA International, Inc. (NYSE: SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to federal government organizations, announced that it has been awarded a competitive task order by the U.S. Marine Corps. SRA will provide a broad range of information technology services to help the Marine Corps develop an integrated digital work environment for acquisition and life cycle systems management functions. The task order, awarded under the General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedule, has an estimated value of $33.3 million over five years if all options are exercised.
The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) serves as the Commandant's principal agent for equipping the operating forces to accomplish their warfighting mission. A system developed by SRA will provide the Marine Corps with an integrated digital environment: a secure, easily accessible common work environment for MCSC personnel to work collaboratively with other internal and external stakeholders utilizing standard, automated business processes in a fully integrated data environment. The SRA team will deliver a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) based solution and provide requirements analysis, data architecture, systems engineering and integration, knowledge management, and training services. The SRA Team includes Northrop Grumman Corporation; Portal Dynamics, Inc.; SMARTRONIX; and UGS Corp.
