Family Connect is a voicemail on-demand system which allows persons displaced by disaster to exchange messages at any time, from anywhere. The system activates immediately and is available 24/7. Family members can call into a central toll-free number set up by TFCC and enter the family home telephone number, at which point they can either leave a message or listen to messages left for them.
Each voice mailbox holds an unlimited number of messages, with the caller hearing the most recent one first.The Family Connect system can handle up to 1,000 simultaneous calls more than enough capacity to handle even the most extreme circumstances. |
