A contingency plan is a plan devised for a specific situation when things could go wrong. They are often devised by governments or businesses that want to be prepared for anything that could happen.
Symantec Corp. announced the global results of its fourth annual IT Disaster Recovery survey, which demonstrates a significant decline in executive involvement in disaster recovery planning, and a significant increase in the number of organizations reevaluating their disaster recovery (DR) plans due to virtualization.
