AAID Ultra Long Range Readers provide long range zone coverage that can read multiple AAID tags simultaneously at a location with adjustable ranges from .5 to 2000 + feet, thus enabling you to know which zone or area of the campus the students, faculty and visitors are when and after the emergency occurs.

Read range adjustable directional and omni-directional antennas can be discretely installed in the school’s ceilings, walls, or doorways to identify and track personnel tag locations.

The cell phone size readers communicate simultaneously in RS-232, RS-485, TTL, or TCP-IP protocol formats for custom personnel and asset control software applications, or in 26 or 32 bit Wiegand formats for access control systems.

These unique “passive” readers cannot cause interference with other electronic equipment in the school or jam other AAID readers if their read fields overlap each other unlike “active” RFID readers. When using AAID’s “passive” readers you are able to have full zone coverage of the entire facility without gaps in the inventory zone fields.
