SteelEye LifeKeeper and SteelEye Data Replication named as data protection solutions for Oracle Enterprise Linux operating platform.

SteelEye Data Replication for Linux leverages open source features contributed by SteelEye into the 2.6 Linux kernel to provide both host-based volume replication and continuous data protection. A built-in Data Recovery Wizard provides simple restore of critical data to any point in time. Support for multiple simultaneous targets that can span any combination of wide and local area connections provides optimal data protection.

Used by itself, SteelEye Data Replication delivers real-time backup of business-critical data. When combined with LifeKeeper„µ for Linux, a variety of configurations to protect applications can be built, ranging from low-cost two node shared nothing clusters to geographically-dispersed clusters for disaster recovery protection.
