Synopsis

Biometrics is composed of two words of Greek origin, bio meaning organic life and metrics that means to measure. In the simplest definition of biometrics, it can be explained as a biological authentication of a living person. Today’s biometrics uses automated techniques to recognize an individual based on physical or behavioral characteristics.
