Xyratex Ltd., a leading provider of enterprise class data storage subsystems and storage process technology, recently announced that EDI Technology, a storage integrator, is using the Xyratex F5412E RAID system for online and archive storage of video surveillance at the Beijing Capital International Airport. The Xyratex F5412E 4Gb FC-SAS/SATA-II RAID product delivers EDI the storage scalability, reliability and throughput performance to also support crucial anti-terrorism and security efforts at the airport during the Beijing 2008 Olympics.

Additionally, the F5412E sustains maximum throughput (MB/s) for high bandwidth applications like the video surveillance efforts EDI is supporting for Beijing Capital International Airport as well as database-intensive online transaction processing.
