CFC Technology, a provider of technology to the financial industry, has introduced its business recovery software and secure plan retention, BCPlanLogix, which will allow the company's financial institution customers to create, change and manage a plan online. The plan resides electronically offsite in a secure datacenter and is accessible from anywhere using an internet connection in the event of a disaster.

The company has said that for those who would like to maintain a paper version of the plan based on online contents, one can be printed out from the software's report function. When developing a plan, a person or a team assigned to oversee their institution's business continuity plan have to go it alone with minimal or no direction. The solution counters the go-it-alone strategy. Support will available to help guide users through the steps required to start and manage a plan.

The company has also said that members of its Advisory Services Group, using the software tool, can either closely assist an institution with its planning obligations, or assume 100% plan development responsibilities on behalf of an institution.
